BAEL is King of the Eastern court. He appears as a frog, cat, king, or as all three simultaneously.
He teaches science.
Petition Bael for wisdom; grace; for the subtlety to survive dangerous situations; and to win the love of men and women.
Bael can influence perceptions, making individuals or objects less noticeable or inducing confusion in others. This strategic power makes him valuable in both magical and mundane settings, such as avoiding conflicts or navigating competitive environments undetected. His shape-shifting powers make him a useful spirit for those undergoing personal transformation or seeking flexibility in identity.
Rituals dedicated to Bael often incorporate offerings that emphasize his royal status, such as symbols of power (crowns or gold objects). Other offerings include frankincense, and blue or black candles.
He is connected with both the night and invisibility, so rituals are often performed under a new moon or in low light.
Bael was originally venerated as a fertility and storm deity in ancient Middle Eastern religions. Today, practitioners commonly invoke him to control weather phenomena like rain, and to manage fertility, reflecting his old associations with agriculture and with life cycles. His rituals may also focus on personal power, leadership, and success. He responds well to requests relating to protection, camouflage, or strategy.
Bael prefers clear, specific requests rather than vague or open-ended intentions. Rituals with a clear purpose tend to be more effective. He dislikes excessive ceremony or needlessly elaborate altars, and is said to be displeased by overly-rigid rituals that lack in creativity.
A common phenomenon when Bael is summoned is a sudden, intense silence or an odd shift in ambient sounds. Practitioners report visions or sensations of animals (particularly frogs or cats) when invoking him. Some report an eerie sensation of being unseen or hidden during invocation. After successful workings, practitioners may feel a heightened sense of awareness, or insight into complex situations where strategy is necessary.

PURSON is King of the Eastern court. He appears as a beautiful lion-headed man wearing a diadem, and holding a serpent. He rides a bear, or a boar.
He knows of all hidden things that lie underwater and underground. He knows of matters relating to divinity, and to the creation of the world. He knows the locations of treasures, and he can answer any question about past, present or future.
Petition Purson for familiar spirits. The spirits he offers come partly from the Order of Virtues, and partly from the Order of Thrones.*
Purson offers insight into both earthly and divine mysteries. He can expose the hidden thoughts and motives of others, making him useful in situations where transparency or clarity is needed, such as legal matters or personal conflicts. The treasures he uncovers can be literal or metaphorical, such as opportunities or talents that are yet to be discovered. Those working with Purson report that he is particularly insightful when dealing with time-related magic, and with the perception of possibilities.
Offerings to Purson may include frankincense (used in rituals to illuminate truth), cloves, or cinnamon (both associated with wealth and divination.)
Offer black candles to represent hidden and secret things, and gold candles to represent wealth and spiritual illumination.
Items related to divination, like tarot cards, crystal balls, or mirrors, can honor his ability to reveal hidden knowledge.
Gold coins or small gemstones are suitable offerings. These items are believed to attract his favor and show respect.
Personal items like hair or blood can be added to strengthen the connection.
He requests that offerings be made to him before an image or figure made of brass.
He is thought to appreciate a ritual environment that feels mysterious, with dim lighting and candlelight. Summoning him in broad daylight is generally thought to be less effective or even disrespectful.
Magical practitioners describe Purson as a potent and straightforward spirit. One should approach him with care and clear purpose, as he dislikes being summoned for trivial matters. During rituals with him, it's recommended to provide precise and respectful instructions. He appreciates formalities, so skipping steps or treating the ritual carelessly may cause him to withhold cooperation or insights. He values seekers who approach him with a genuine desire for knowledge, and dislikes those who summon him purely for wealth or for shallow purposes.
Audible sounds, particularly sounds resembling a distant trumpet or other deep, resonant tones, are commonly reported when Purson is summoned. His presence is often accompanied by a sudden feeling of clarity, like hidden thoughts or answers surfacing naturally. Practitioners sometimes report visions of gold, jewels, or of concealed locations or pathways.
*The Virtues and Thrones are two Orders of angels. The Virtues are closely associated with miracles. They intervene directly in the world, and guide humans towards acts of courage, charity, and faith. They grant fortitude and perseverance to those undergoing trials or spiritual battles. They represent strength, movement, and change. The Thrones act as conduits for divine judgement and justice, making sure that intentions from the divine are implemented. They represent balance, humility, and stability.

PRUFLAS is Prince of the Eastern court. He appears as a flame with the head of a hawk, circling the Tower of Babylon.
He brings dissent, factions, quarrels, war, discord, falsehoods, rebellious protest, spiritual liberty, and the quest for knowledge.
He is very generous with his time: he accepts all invitations, and is said to be responsive to requests and questions, especially those regarding the underworld. Some practitioners also claim that working with him can improve one's psychic abilities and inner confidence.
Common recommendations for offerings are:
Frankincense, myrrh, or dragon's blood incense. These are commonly associated with demons that stir energy and conflict.
Offerings of sulfur or other pungent scents can align with his rebellious nature.
Dark red, black, or orange candles can represent the energies of fire, anger, or chaos that Pruflas governs.
Wine, whiskey, or dark liquors may be presented, as offerings of intoxicants often signify a willingness to let go of order or embrace chaotic insight.
Swords, daggers, or broken chains reflect his domain over rebellion and insubordination.
Practitioners may offer writings or sigils on parchment asking for his assistance in persuasive endeavors or subversion.
It's recommended to conduct his invocations in private, darkened spaces, or in places with minimal interference. Rituals with him are said to be stronger when performed at night, or under the planetary influences of Mars or Mercury, which relate to conflict and communication. In working with any spirit like Pruflas, practitioners stress the importance of respect, clarity of intent, and a well-drawn protective circle.

VALAC is Prince of the Eastern court. He appears as a child with the wings of an angel or hawk, and rides a two-headed dragon.
He reveals where serpents or drakes may be seen, and allows people to catch them safely. He knows the locations of hidden treasures, and will grant all manner of household spirits.
Valac’s powers extend to enhancing instincts for finding lucky opportunities, including beneficial career paths. He is regarded as a guardian of the ritual circle, emphasizing his role in protective magic. However, summoning him requires preparation and respect, as some experiences describe him as testing or challenging the conjurer's boundaries during rituals.
Practitioners suggest offerings like white candles and sesame seeds.
Incorporating snake imagery in the ritual space can help establish a connection with him.
Natural stones or small pieces of metal can attract his attention. These do not have to be valuable, but should be given with sincere intent.
Valac is associated with the planetary energies of Saturn and Uranus, and his presence is believed to connect with air elements and the zodiac sign Aquarius (particularly between January 25-29). He is also connected to imagery associated with the ancient Greek deity Hermes.
He is said to move very quickly, and as such, dislikes enclosed spaces. He prefers to be summoned on high places, like on rooftops or hills. He might otherwise leave through the ceiling.
He is said to dislike highly ceremonial rituals, preferring straightforward, purpose-driven invocations. Valac does not respond well to those with hidden or deceitful motives.
During rituals with him, practitioners may feel a strong sense of clarity, sometimes experiencing an intuitive understanding or mental "map" of lost objects or locations.
